2025 Season Rank: 11th

Who they’re losing: Sophia Groth, Olivia Hollingsworth, Sara Hubbard, Gabby McLaughlin, Sydney Schumaker, Sarah Zois, Caroline Leonard, Anna Hill

Who they’re gaining: Kaylee Bluffstone (Transfer from from Florida), Emma Wehry (Transfer from West Virginia), Charlotte Booth, Brynn Torry, Adrianna Consoli, Rebekah Smith, Mia Leverton

The New Faces:

The Tigers are losing a lot of experienced veterans from last season but are bringing in two exciting transfers and a talented freshman class that you can expect to see contribute right away!

For the transfers, senior Emma Wehry (transfer from West Virginia) could contribute on any event, but we think vault is the most likely right out the gates, as she has a really solid and reliable front pike half that starts from a 10.0. Junior Kaylee Bluffstone spent the first two years of her college career in Gainesville, where injuries and the Gators’ super-deep roster limited her competitive opportunities. She competed three floor routines in her freshman season, averaging a 9.867 – making floor her most likely event to break into as a Tiger. But don’t sleep on her vault and beam! It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Bluffstone’s Yurchenko 1.5 on vault, but it’s something that could emerge at some point during the season and her beam work is lovely as well.

For the freshmen, Brynn Torry is a name you’re going to want to remember. The former elite gymnast brings a wealth of experience and the potential to compete all-around for the Tigers right out of the gate. In fact, with Katelyn Jong returning from injury, we think Torry is the most likely option to be Auburn’s all-around athlete. Charlotte Booth is the other big name in this class. An elite gymnast for both the U.S. and Great Britain, Booth also brings a ton of competitive experience to this young Tiger team. After tearing her Achilles in February of this year, many fans expected Booth to miss her freshman season (or at least be limited). However, her spot in the bars and beam lineups come January seems very likely based on how good she’s looked in preseason training videos. Head coach Jeff Graba cautioned fans not to sleep on Booth when drafting for Fantasy Gym, as her recovery is going better than expected and she could be back on all four events come postseason. Adrianna Consoli is currently working back from an injury, but if healthy, she could contend for a spot in the beam lineup. Rebekah Smith is in the mix on every event, but we’re not sure if we’ll see her in lineups right away. The final freshman is Mia Leverton, who was a late addition to the Class of 2025. Leverton brings a stunning Yurchenko 1.5 that we expect to make lineups from day one (the form is so good), but she’s also right in the mix on beam and floor. This is an athlete who was a late bloomer and may be flying a bit under the radar in your Fantasy leagues.

Vault Breakdown

Losing from post season lineup: Sara Hubbard, Sarah Zois, Sydney Shumaker

New faces to watch for: Brynn Torry (10 SV), Mia Leverton (10 SV), Emma Wehry (10 SV)

Outlook: Auburn is one of the few teams in the nation that can not only field a full lineup of 10.0 start value vaults, but also has several waiting in the wings as depth options. Junior Paige Zancan has the highest returning average on this event with a 9.852. Other notable returners include sophomore Sophia Bell, who is hoping to upgrade her Yurchenko full to a double-twisting Yurchenko (which looks extremely realistic), and junior Alex Irvine, who is now training a half-on, front pike off vault that looks promising. Brynn Torry and Mia Leverton should make an immediate impact on this event with their clean Yurchenko 1.5s, with Emma Wehry’s front handspring pike half in strong contention as well. Junior Julianne Huff has a reliable Yurchenko 1.5 that will be in the conversation. What Huff has working in her favor is lineup experience and a proven track record, so we could see her retain her lineup spot over a newcomer or somebody who is working an upgrade. Another name to watch is sophomore Marissa Neal. After training an Omelianchik last season, Neal is back training a Yurchenko 1.5 and we’re looking forward to seeing how that progresses.

The Tigers will likely be without their star all-arounder, Katelyn Jong, on this event due to an Achilles injury sustained in February of last season. However, if she were to return, she would only add to the depth of this already solid lineup.

Overall, the Tigers are in a strong position on this event and are poised to improve from last season.

Uneven Bar Breakdown

Losing from post season lineup: Sophia Groth, Caroline Leonard

New faces to watch for:  Brynn Torry, Charlotte Booth

Outlook: Auburn’s weakest event last season — at least in terms of national ranking — was bars. While we hesitate to call it a potential weakness for the Tigers this year, it is the event with the most uncertainty. They are losing two athletes from their postseason lineup, and their highest-scoring returner from last season, Katelyn Jong, is currently recovering from an Achilles injury. However, we do expect to see Jong on this event at some point this season — it just might not be right away. Charlotte Booth appears to be farther along in her Achilles recovery and should make the lineup, which is a big plus. Other athletes to watch on this event include Alex Irvine, who holds the second-highest returning average with a 9.877, as well as juniors Olivia Greaves and Emma Grace Boyd, and sophomore Marissa Neal.

We feel this is the event with the least depth for the Tigers — which could make the health of those in contention crucial for postseason success.

Beam Breakdown

Losing from post season lineup: Sophia Groth, Gabby McLaughlin

New faces to watch for:  Brynn Torry, Charlotte Booth, Emma Wehry, Kaylee Bluffstone

Outlook: This is the event we think has the most wiggle room for someone a bit more unexpected to break into the lineup. Fans can expect to see sophomore Marissa Neal and junior Paige Zancan, who hold the highest and second-highest returning averages, respectively. From there, it’s a bit more wide open — but the Tigers have a ton of options! Sophomore Olivia Ahern and junior Olivia Greaves were staples in last season’s lineups and will likely see time again this year. Freshmen Charlotte Booth and Brynn Torry are in the running, as well as both transfers, Emma Wehry and Kaylee Bluffstone. If healthy, Katelyn Jong could make a push for this lineup at some point in the season.

This was Auburn’s best event last season in terms of rankings last season, and we think it has the potential to be another strong event this year — especially if the new faces can show consistency early on.

Floor Breakdown

Losing from post season lineup: Sophia Groth, Gabby McLaughlin

New faces to watch for: Brynn Torry, Mia Leverton, Emma Wehry, Kaylee Bluffstone

Outlook: The Tigers return several members of their lineup on this event, and four of them averaged above a 9.825 last season: Marissa Neal, Olivia Ahern, Sophia Bell, and Paige Zancan. With the addition of freshmen Brynn Torry and Mia Leverton, transfers Emma Wehry and Kaylee Bluffstone, and returning athletes like Julianne Huff and Hannah Hagle — who have both competed on floor in past seasons — the Tigers should have plenty of options to choose from. Expect floor to be a strong event for Auburn once again in 2026.

Final Outlook: When factoring in who the Tigers are losing and gaining, we think Auburn’s stock stays roughly the same, with the potential to rise depending on how Katelyn Jong develops. The Tigers should be able to replace the routines they’re losing from their graduating class between the freshmen and transfers. But to take things up a notch, it would help to have Jong back on bars and beam, along with better overall health. We could see athletes like Marissa Neal and Olivia Ahern stepping up more, and Kaylee Bluffstone could be a boost to the lineups if she’s ready by the start of the season. At this point in the season, we want to be conservative with our predictions, but there is definitely room for Auburn’s stock to go up from last season.
