Happy New Year! As promised, we’re back with another Coaches Corner interview as we kick off the 2026 NCAA season.
We’re excited to welcome a new face to the show — Washington head coach Jessa Hansen Parker — as she joins us to preview what’s ahead for the Huskies. Jessa enters her second year at the helm of Washington, which also marks the program’s second season competing in the Big Ten.
Last year gave Husky fans plenty to celebrate: the program recorded its second-highest attendance in history, four GymDawgs qualified to regionals as individuals, and Mary McDonough earned a spot at the NCAA Championships for the second straight season. With several new athletes gaining valuable lineup experience, Washington looks poised to build on that momentum as they aim to climb the rankings both nationally and within the Big Ten.
Jessa joins us to break down expectations for the season and preview the Huskies’ opening meet this Saturday against Cal, UCLA, and Oregon State — streaming on BTN+ at 6 p.m. ET.
