This week, we’re joined by Mya Jett, an uncommitted gymnast in the Class of 2027. 

Mya was originally committed to Iowa State on a full athletic scholarship, but as many unfortunately know, the program was cut in March, leaving several gymnasts — including Mya — without a home. Now heading into her senior year, Mya is navigating the recruiting process once again. Her story highlights just how competitive college recruiting has become, especially in this new era of roster limits, transfer portal movement, and talks of  potential fifth-year eligibility.

Mya was incredibly vulnerable in this episode, and we know there are many athletes in the Classes of 2027 and 2026 who can relate to the emotions she shares.
