In just two months, the recruiting period for the class of 2027 will kick off. However, there are still plenty of talented athletes flying under the radar and currently uncommitted from the class of 2026.
Here are a few names that have caught our attention.
Kendall Morgan (American Twisters Gymnastics)

- Career Highs: VT: 9.775 UB: 9.825 BB: 9.6 FX: 9.750 AA: 38.400
- Notable Accolades: 2025 Nastia Cup Qualifier; 2024 DP Nationals: 3rd BB and 6th AA
It’s only a matter of time until this one gets snatched up! Kendall Morgan has all the qualities to become a standout at the NCAA level and her gymnastics would be an asset to nearly any D1 lineup. On vault, she competes a newly upgraded Yurchenko 1.5. Her uneven bars routine is clean and college-ready, capped off with a toe-on front pike half dismount, complete with a big celebration every time she sticks it. On beam she competes a triple series (bhs + bhs + loso) and an Onodi – a skill we don’t see enough these days. On floor, she opens with a powerful double layout that we could easily see anchoring a lineup.

Addison Anderson (San Mateo Gymnastics)

- Career Highs: VT: 9.75 UB: 9.725 BB: 9.7 FX: 9.375
- Notable Accolades: 2024 DP Nationals All Star Division: 2nd BB; 2022 DP Nationals: 3rd UB
We’ve got our eyes on Addison Anderson, particularly for her clean uneven bar and beam work where she shows tons of potential. Anderson’s bar routine is 9.9+ worthy and features a lovely Khorkina and a gorgeous double layout dismount that could be a standout routine in most lineups. On beam, she has nice toe point, straight legs, and good extension. Anderson has room to grow on vault too, where she competes a front tuck, but is working a front pike and a front pike half.

Raquel Simmons (Capital Gymnastics)

- Career Highs: VT: 9.975 UB: 9.550 BB: 9.175 FX: 9.550
- Notable Accolades: 2024 DP Nationals: 3rd VT
Raquel Simmons would be a valuable addition to any team looking for an immediate boost on vault, with plenty of room to develop her on the other events. Simmons competes an Omelianchik, which she performed to near perfection to claim the regional vault title in 2024. Simmons is a powerhouse and shows promise across the board. She was on the elite track in her younger years and clearly has the talent. At one point, she was training a Biles 1 on floor, an arabian on beam and a double tuck dismount off beam. While she likely won’t compete those skills in college, it’s a strong indication of talent and potential.

Taylor Maye (Jamjev Gymnastics)

- Career Highs: VT: 9.975 UB: 9.525 BB: 9.550 FX: 9.6
- Notable Accolades: 2024 DP Nationals: 1st VT, 7th FX and 3rd AA
Taylor Maye is a power athlete who can make an impact primarily on vault and floor. In her first level 10 national championships, Maye made a statement by winning the the vault title in the Junior C division (with a near stuck Yurchenko 1.5) and finishing 3rd all-around. Maye did not compete during the 2025 season due to injury but is working her way back on all four events and could be an excellent addition for any team looking for some underrated talent.

Jordyn Castillo (Ascend Gymnastics)

- Career Highs: VT: 9.725 UB: 9.225 BB: 9.425 FX: 9.75
- Notable Accolades: 2025 Washington State Championships: 2nd VT and FX
Jordyn Castillo is one to watch! She competes a powerful and clean Yurchenko full on vault and recently moved her tucked full-in on floor down to the hard surface, meaning an upgrade could be coming to competition floor soon! Despite not having the highest scores on bars and beam, Castillo shows a solid foundation that can be built upon in the coming years. We could see her as a strong all-around gymnast at many college teams!
